蕭龍士，字翰云(1889—1990)。著名國畫家，美術教育家。安徽蕭縣人。1925年畢業于劉海粟創辦的上海美術?？茖W校。返鄉后執教于蕭縣師范學校、徐州藝術?？茖W校。六十歲花甲之年赴京拜齊白石為師，頗得賞識。嘗題畫云：“龍士畫荷，吾不如也，國有此人而不知，深以為恥!”蕭龍士先生擅寫意花鳥，山水人物亦工，猶精蘭草、荷花。所作筆畫雄健，正不流平板，奇不入險惡。李苦禪贊譽：“龍士畫蘭，全國第一”。作品廣被全國各地博物館、院校和收藏家收藏。出版有《蕭龍士惠蘭冊》、《蕭龍士畫集》、《蕭龍士百壽畫集》等多部。蕭龍士先生為人平樸、謙遜，弟子數以千計，影響深遠，享譽極高。生前全國多數重要報刊(包括香港)皆曾辟專欄介紹其藝術業跡，中央新聞電影制版廠曾拍攝有《藝壇壽星蕭龍士》專集。1990年享年103歲仙逝于合肥家中，合肥各界上萬人自發集會為之舉行隆重的追悼儀式，中央部分領導、國家文聯、全國美協、書協、安徽省四大班子領導成員皆親臨現場，場面空前。蕭龍士先生是我國書畫界“藝德雙馨”的典范，是一個永遠被人民懷念的藝術家。
